Kanchenjunga

The five treasures of snow.

Overview

In Nepal's far east, the Kanchenjunga region remains one of the least-trafficked corners of the Himalaya. The trail circles the base of the world's third-highest peak through a patchwork of climate zones — dense forest, glacial moraine, and high alpine pasture — passing Limbu and Rai villages rarely seen by outside trekkers.
